About
Andrea Zirio
is an actor who has worked across Europe and the United States — on sets, stages and streets from Turin to Los Angeles, from New York to London. He has lived in enough countries to have opinions about all of them.
He speaks Italian, English and Spanish with the kind of fluency that only comes from actually living in those languages.
He has worked with Penélope Cruz, Malcolm McDowell, Danny Glover, and Peter Greenaway, as well as many talented indie filmakers, actors and directors.
He has won Best Actor at the Beverly Hills Film Festival, Best Actor at the Dallas Film Festival, and Best Young Actor at Theaterfest Greiz, Berlin — none of which are important enough to lead with, but all of which are just about important enough to explain why people in many different rooms tend to listen when he speaks.
He trained at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York, the Sanford Meisner Center in Los Angeles, and the Ivana Chubbuck Studio.
He also holds a degree in Neuropsychology — which is either completely irrelevant or explains everything about how he reads a room.
Presence isn’t something you have.
It’s something you stop blocking.
